It has changed by DVDs and VHS . You could make music videos with technology.

also by going on the internet to see videos or pictures it has changed. I say it is any way you want it to be know not like in the past.

Is it important to know the history of technology? 

i think it is because you would know what happened in the past and what is happening now. know what is happening so you don't have to be in the big black hole of darkness. This is the best thing to do in a problem.thats what i would do.
